The Admissions Process
The admissions process is designed to thoroughly screen applicants to ensure that they meet the requirements of the program. While our program is COST-FREE, we do have certain criteria to be met before an applicant can be accepted.
-Be between 16 and 18 years of age. Certain waivers exist for age. Contact us for specifics.
-Be free from illegal substance use.
-Be physically capable of completing the program.
-Dropped out of or on the verge of dropping out of high school.
-Unemployed or underemployed.
-Legal US Citizen
These criteria are important to ensure applicant success while at the academy. We implement these criteria in order to set every applicant up for success. Some of the criteria, however, can come with waivers. Again, contact us for specifics.
Application
We have received your application through the online portal or via one of our recruiters.
Review
Each application is screened to ensure all criteria are met. This is where a complete application is important. Some incomplete applications may be denied due to lack of documents or information.
Notification
A deicision is made on each applicant and the familes are notified of the next steps. Denial of an application is not necessarily the end of the road. Our admissions team will work with you to rectify any errors.
Online Application
You can submit a complete application here using our portal. Once an application is complete, we will begin the process of review. Or, if you would rather submit a physical application, you can download the packet using the button below. One of our recruiters or admissions team members will reach out to you and guide you through the remainder of the process. Once you’re here, you’re in the home stretch.
